Sooo I ended up bubbling the UKIPT event here in Dublin... I had around 33,000 chips at 1200/2400 at the time and got it in with JJ only to end up against AK in a flip. To my epic demise, the flop brings an AQ6... end of story.
I got over it pretty quick with a night out on the town of Dublin, and I have got to say they go fucking hard! It's a party until the early morning and walking around in a club without having a drink spilled on you was near impossible. Anyways I've never had so many vodbulls in my life, and don't plan on that again. Worst feeling ever is to wake up the next day after drinking so many redbulls and other energy drinks of that sort. Regardless though I wake up to load SCOOP and other MTT's. For the SCOOP I loaded both NLHE low and medium events.
The $1050 Main Event was the highlight of the last couple of days. I started off the tournament doubling very early for stacks. The hand was clutch and I feel I played it optimally but to say the least I chipped up with bottom set versus top two. It wasn't long before most of my focus was this tournament. At some point I stopped loading MTT's and I'm down to 3 or 4 tables. This is when I really got my game on. I stayed fairly deep for most of the first day of the tournament but happened to end up with only 25bb with 74 players remaining for Day 2.
25bb isn't a lot but I happened to get back in the game but in the end, I ended up busting 10th on Final Table bubble for heaps of chips. I lost AKs to 99 for around a 9mil pot. I would've been in 2nd, maybe 1st, I can't remember.. I'm tired. But anyways I feel like I played very well throughout this tournament and definitely deserve what I received ($22,000) $560,000 for 1st. There were a couple hands that I remember playing that I really didn't like much, as I feel there usually is in a tournament that you play for almost 30 hours lol but yeah other than that I'm very happy with my game at the moment and I'm looking to take most of my volume into the MTT world.
Anyways, I'm surprised this blog post even turned out this long. I haven't been in the blogging mood in such a long time but I guess I just went on with this one. Anyhow, sick night. I'm off to bed, it's late here in Dublin :)

UKIPT Dublin Main Event
So I'm really tired right now, but I thought I would give everyone on my blog a quick update as to what's been happening with me lately.. Not a whole lot of grinding was done online for the last month and a half. I have my reasons, but in the end they were excuses that just turned out to be -EV for my work ethic and I'd say I regret it but what's done is done.
On a positive note, I'm out in Dublin, Ireland with bigbluffzinc, Frenzuh, and $indabank111 and we are all just chillin' out. Along side of that we all bought into the UKIPT Dublin Main Event which is pretty awesome, especially considering me and $indabank111 are still in it. He's chip leader with a whopping 151k going into Day 2 tomorrow after playing Day 1B today. They've done an article on him. Check out the link: http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/ukipt/2012/ukipt-dublin-s3-kollander-rinses-the-day-094567.html
Also playing Day 1B today, I'm sitting 13th in chips out of the 244 players that remain. You can find who's left and the chip counts here: http://www.pokerstarsblog.com/tournaments/ukipt/season-3-4/dublin-2/chipcount.html
Anyways I'm tired and need my rest, I'll be sure to update my results after tomorrow. Good luck all and have a good weekend.

Work Ethic
So it's been a really long time since I've made a post. I really don't have any good reason for it, but I do know that I'm very committed to posting more often. It will keep me motivated. Rather then talk about how things have been since August, I'm just gonna say it. I've been lazy lol.
I basically took off the first two weeks of January and the first week of February and when I was playing, I put in terrible volume. I'm about breakeven for the year. Mostly due to poor volume and my large downswing in the $100 18's. I really feel like I'm ready to put in some serious work now though. I even went as far as to buy myself a little notebook to keep track of a couple things. I've started off this month recording how many hours I play poker to motivate me to play more, and also how much money I spend during the following months. I feel like me recording my hours will allow me to stay motivated to work harder if I happen to notice that I start slacking off. It's also important for me to keep track of my expenses during any given month because my spending habits have been terrible since moving to Vancouver (not sure if I mentioned this).
Anyways so far so good. I've already put in almost 300 games in the first 2 days of this month, playing about 10-12 tables at a time for now. I'm looking to play upwards of 3000 games this month. I'd really like to achieve 100k VPP's this month but it seems unlikely with the amount of tables I run at a time right now with an ABI of $40. Though if I keep my expenses down this month and do well I'm gonna look into buying 2 new monitors. At least 24 inch monitors =)
I'll be sure to keep this blog updated. No sense in turning back now. Good Luck.
